
Tudo isto para vos falar de Oliver Sacks e do seu livro Musicophilia ou o Homem que confudiu a sua esposa por um chapéu, que acredito que quando os ler será música para os meus ouvidos.
Deixo aqui um parágrafo sobre uma destas vertentes epilépticas que, acredito, será de interesse para o cabeçudo deste blog.
"One more interesting story is that of Shostakovich, a composer, who was found to have a metallic splinter in his head which pressed against his temporal lobe when he tilted his head to one side. He would hear melodies which were different each time which he would then incorporate into his compositions."
